The NBA has a huge social media following; it is the second most shareable brand with over 202 million total actions over Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and over 45 million combined followers! With such a large fan base, creating quality content that engages the audience is a primary component to this relationship. Over the past year I was asked to create graphics to be shared over these social channels as well as translated for the NBA's international markets including Brazil and China. Surprisingly the budget wasn't very high, so these graphics became fun, quick, explorations in different graphic styles. The result was nothing less than spectacular with over 120,000 likes on average and as high as 270,000 likes on Instagram. In the end the designs were used across social media channels as well as broadcast on NBATV.
